The 2026 MEMECO × APME International Conference will take place in Sulmona, Italy, from July 14–16, 2026.
All participants must be members of either APME or MEMECO in order to register for the conference.
Registration by Region
EU / Schengen Participants
Participants residing in EU / Schengen countries should register through MEMECO via Eventbrite.
MEMECO registration includes specially sponsored rates for teachers and students residing in Italy and the EU / Schengen area.
Non-EU Participants (USA, UK, and all other countries)
Participants residing outside the EU / Schengen area should register through APME.

Membership Information
MEMECO Membership:
MEMECO membership is free for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Participants residing in EU / Schengen countries may register as MEMECO members.
APME Membership:
Participants residing outside the EU / Schengen area must register through APME and hold an active APME membership.

Founded in 2025, MEMECO is dedicated to advancing the role of music education in fostering social change and community empowerment throughout the Mediterranean. Our organization is built on the belief that music can be a transformative force for individuals and communities alike.
MEMECO brings together a vibrant community of educators, artists, and advocates who are committed to enriching lives through music. We facilitate programs that connect diverse populations, promote cultural exchange, and ensure that music education is accessible to all.
In 2026, we will proudly host our inaugural International Conference, bringing together thought leaders and practitioners to share insights and strategies for effective music education as a tool for social impact.
